- Are you a local employer or a member of university staff?

- Would you like to meet talented students?

- Would you like to help them to prepare for the world of work?

The world of work is changing, and students need to prepare for this, and they need your help to do this.

On Tuesday 19th February Future Foundations are coming to the University of Bath to run a day of training and events which will help both undergraduate and post-graduate students to gain the edge on graduation.

Students will attend workshops during the day and the networking event in the evening.

You are invited to attend the networking event at The University of Bath which will help Bath students prepare for graduation.

Who should attend?  University staff, local business owners/managers and recruiters.

Why attend:   To support Bath students with their preparation for the world of work, and have the opportunity to meet local businesses and university staff.  Your company will also be included on the University of Bath website and in the PR surrounding the roadshow.

The Mind the Gap Roadshow - an event to help postgraduate & undergraduate students to understand their capabilities and help to shape their future. ===================================== Future Foundations are working with the The University of Bath Students' Union, Enterprise, job Link and the Postgraduate Skills Training Coordinator to create workshops, a presentation skills competition and an evening networking reception which will help Bath students to understand their capabilities and where they can take their future. ===================================== The day will consist of: - an interactive workshop (this will be repeated three times, the first workshop is targeted at Postgraduate students), students are free to choose which one is most convenient for them - a sell yourself competition filmed by Newspepper.com throughout the day - an evening 'introduction to networking' event at Elements in the Student Union which will put into practice what you have learnt at the workshops Please note; the evening networking event will put into practice what is learnt at the workshops, students are therefore advised to attend both a workshop and the evening event. You will need to register to attend both. ===================================== Future Foundations is a national organisation providing training and support services for graduates, students, school-leavers, and pupils to help prepare them for the real world and the transitions within education.
